This
book covers a considerable piece of Spokane's history as McGoldrick Lumber
was the most significant sawmill operation in Spokane. The company, which
also had large timber holdings and logging operations throughtout the
Inland Northwest, was an economic mainstay and Spokane's largest employer
for 40 years.
Jim McGoldrick, the grandson and namesake of the company's founder, was well-qualified to have written this book. He had a great deal of exposure to the company as a boy, worked for it as a young man and, years later, had a hand in the company's final dissolution. Hardcover (8 1/2"x11"), 288 pages with over 300 photo illustrations, index
